According to Yahoo! Finance, if you were affected by the Centrelink 'robodebt scheme' back in 2019 and you're eligible for a settlement payment, you only have until Friday 11th February 2022 to register your bank details Services Australia or you could miss out on a settlement payment. 

According to Yahoo! Finance, eligible participants should have already received a letter from Services Australia in November 2021.

 
"Only those who had a debt raised using the income-average scheme and who had made payments towards the debt, and those who had overpaid such a debt, will be eligible for settlement payments", Dean said in the Yahoo! Finance news article. 

If you've been sent a letter by Services Australia stating that you were affected by the scheme and eligible for settlement payments, Services Australia has urged eligible participants that "if we don't have your payment details, you'll miss out on a settlement payment."

Thankfully, people who are already receiving Centrelink payments such as the Disability Support Pension or they've received a refund, their payment will be automatically processed and paid into the same account.
